Our aim: to encourage the art of embroidery while maintaining a high standard of design and technique.

 

The Embroiderers' Guild NSW Inc.

The Embroiderers' Guild NSW Inc (the Guild) is all about embroidery!  All styles of embroidery, both traditional and modern, from cross stitch to canvaswork, from mixed media to metal thread. 

 

We have something for all embroidery skill levels, from novice to advanced. Our tutors teach virtually every embroidery technique and you can attend a class, course either at our Headquarters, at your Group or by correspondence. You can visit one of our Groups, we have over 65 throughout NSW.

 

We welcome all ages from 5yrs old to 100+yrs young and we are very proud of our Junior members (YTFG - Young Textile and Fibre Group), we love to encourage them as they are our future.

 

So, what do we do?  We encourage, inspire, teach, stitch, exhibit, collect, research, discuss, read and learn. Phew!

 

What do you do? Your bit is easier.  You just have to Join Us , select a  Group (this is optional) then take time out to have some fun and make something beautiful in your too, too busy world!
